Norwegian-Iranian singer Amanda Delara recently showcased a striking dress featuring a beaded image of iconic Iranian singer Googoosh on her instagram. The dress, designed by Norwegian designer Mari Hetland, took over 50 hours and tens of thousands of beads to complete.
Delara has consistently drawn inspiration from her Iranian heritage, a theme evident throughout her work. From naming her debut album Shahrazad, inspired by the legendary storyteller of One Thousand and One Nights, to incorporating Persian lyrics in her songs, Delara continues to celebrate her roots—this time through the art of fashion.
