Kourosh Yaghmaei Releases New Album “Rebel” After 7 Years!

In the realm of Persian music, one name resonates profoundly: Kourosh Yaghmaei. A trailblazing figure whose artistic journey spans decades, Yaghmaei has left an indelible mark on Iran’s music scene, captivating audiences with his innovative compositions and distinctive style. From his early forays into rock and blues to his pioneering fusion of traditional Iranian melodies with contemporary sounds, Yaghmaei’s career is a testament to his boundless creativity and unwavering dedication to pushing musical boundaries.

Gole Yakh” is his most popular work and one of the most iconic Iranian songs across generations, often defining him for many music enthusiasts. In addition to his significant influence among Iranian audiences and artists, his works have garnered attention from music enthusiasts worldwide, transcending borders in various ways. In 2018, American rapper Nas sampled the melody of “Gole Yakh” in his song “Adam and Eve” from the album “NASIR.” In the seventh episode of the series “Little America,” the same song, along with several other tracks by Kourosh Yaghmaei such as “Tavalode Yek Seda,” “Sagheh,” “Khaar,” and “Akhm Nakon,” was featured. Moreover, his song “Hajm-e Khaali” was selected alongside 14 other tracks from around the world for the album “Forge Your Own Chains: Psychedelic Ballads and Dirges: 1968-1974.” Therefore, after several decades of professional activity, the undeniable importance of Kourosh Yaghmaei’s role in the history of Iranian music is evident.

Finally, after seven years since his last album “Malek Jamshid,” on February 9, 2024, Kourosh Yaghmaei released his new album titled “Rebel” with 12 tracks by the label “Now Again Records.”
